An arbitrary waveform generators is an electronic test device which is used to generate waveforms. These waveforms are then injected into the electronic device which is kept for testing. Depending on how the waveforms travel through the device, it can be determined whether the electronic device is performing as it should or not. Furthermore, depending on the resulting output of the waveform when it passes through the device, the type of defect can also be determined to a certain extent. The testing equipment becomes increasingly important especially with the volume and density of semiconductor components which are being embedded in electronic devices increasing each day.
